MG MG Y Type - Y pick up for sale!

picked from the MGB-board:

Martin ZT, Cheshire
I know you chaps on here appreciate this sort of thing, and I apologise for the fact it isn't an MGB, but.....

and then scroll down the list to MG Magnette!

It's not a Magnette but an Y, I think the wheels are 15" so that would make it a YB. If it was for sale here I would seriously consider buying it at that price!

It is indeed the MG Y pick up conversion as shown in our very own Interesting Ys section on www.mgytypes.org.

Willem you are just across the water - I am sure they would take an offer - call them and talk to them. I have spoken with the seller and he apologised for the Magnette trip up, in his defence he says classic cars are not their forte, but he was very honest with me about the condition etc.

You know this car is in our Interesting Ys section dont you? Besides, I think this vehicle is so you!
Paul Barrow

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it were closer to me. Oh yeah, and if I had room left in the driveway. :/

Great shots on Steve's web site of the YA 'estate' vehicle. Would send a draft in a moment at the ask, or a thereabouts $#, if one of the blokes on that side of the pond would harbour it for a bit. Make a great tow vehicle for my Austin 7 750 special.

Paul - everything is negotiable - call the seller see what you can do!

Told you you would buy another Y!

With the swarm of photos coming in the past week or two, I didn't realize until tonight that most if not all of those Y photos on my site are already on the Y-Types web site, including the pickup. Paul has been kind enough to allow me to use all the copyrighted material on my site. Thank you! :)
Steve Simmons

Paul - I did already. Have Roy Jaconson's TF powered YB, but the Y-Truck is very, how do you say it..... Don't let the guys on the TD-TF BBS see the photos however, or we won't hear the end of it. They are currently circling a 4WD BGT.

Hi Paul

I know - it was just a question of time, forgot you had recently come back already :-)

But before you had two Ys, so why not again, the more the merrier!!

Keep well
