At the risk of being called an anorak, this car is a Y (YA if you want), not a YB.

Give aways are:
- the year of build, 1950
- the narrow(er) spacing of the wheelnuts
- the slim rear mudguards

Actually ... this is an intensely RARE car - it is an EX(L) - note the Left Hand Drive!! Very few of these were made. At $2k this is a snip!

Re: EX(L) Would this type have the wings (fenders) not removable and molded to the body? In addition I would ask for help in relocating the sketch of the body showing the the interior structers. I have not been able to relocate it.

The wings should all be bolted and not moulded in the body.

I was confident the wings were separate and bolt-able. However these were molded had and radius at the intersection. This was my first indication that the body (structure) was gone. No having see one i mean.
