MG MG Y Type - Ys at the NEC Friday 14 - Sunday 16 2014

For any Y enthusiast aiming to attend the NEC Classic Car Show near Birmingham over next weekend Friday 14 - Sunday 16 2014 there will be at least two Y Types present. On the MG Octagon Car Club Stand will be Irvine De Bruin's YB which I believe he completed the restoration of earlier this year. Whilst n the MG Owner's Club Stand, which is adjacent, is my YT. I am unsure whether 'Little Gem' the MGCC's YB will be present. There may be other Y's as well but at this stage I have no additional information.

For those of you attending all three MG Car Clubs will be in Hall 12
The MG Octagon CC is on Stand 12-310,
The MG Owners Club on Stand 12-400
The MG Car Club on 12-520.

There at least 65 separate Car Club Stands in Hall 12 and nearly 200 others in adjoining Halls.

I will be on the Octagon Stand each day - Friday, Saturday and Sunday and Irvine will also be present on each of those days.

The opening times are;
Friday 14th: 10.00 am - 6.30 pm
Saturday 15th: 9.00 am - 6.30 pm
Sunday 16th: 9.00 am - 5.30 pm

My YA will be on the MGCC stand....still working on it around the clock so it may not be finished...but it will be there!

This will be its first trip out for 20 years unless you count the chassis' three days out at Silverstone in 2012....

Club members can use the code given in there magazine adverts to reduce the entry fee to £16 50. if tickets are bought in advance. I shall be there on Sunday. Looking forward to seeing the progress Rob.

Well done Rob that is one fantastic restoration. Spent the day at the NEC and didn't see anything to compare with it. I just hope your long legs will be able to fit the driving position and we see you at next years Spring Run.
