PS for safety we did the testing at the legendry Nurburgring/German autobahns in October NOT on public UK roads. MPH was verified by GPS in 5th and 6th gears.

message to mike re ""Message to'a friend': stop xmas shopping and get 17";-) ""

stopped shopping now didnt buy the rampant rabbit as 2,324 rpm is a real ' thrilling vibrator'as you can support.

however to get back to 'the RING' i had to invest in a ring for u no hoo.

a friend

ps/
had to buy a rear calip as i was really screwed. it was you ya git doing test dounuts ( i asked for no sugar on my donuts, not screw us a dounut) at 'the RING' with the handbrake
pps/
have you listened to the disc yet . its great

Supercharged honda engined 'F'. The big question is though, is this a 'one off' or can we all line up for a Honda conversion for our 'F's? Can't imagine you'd be doing this guys if it's not going to figure up there with roll bars and a tropy caliper conversion. So the big 'santa' question is, how much will it cost the wife?
Leigh

Sorry I didn't realise this was MG saloons, thought I was still on the 'F' board.
Leigh

MGZRH....not a problem .

it can be done, IT WILL BE DONE...........
a friend

Leigh, if the wife can afford it call the office;-)I have engines and gearboxes in stock, so if you have a F or ZR it can be done with or without a S/C.
It isn't on my web site as an option because I haven't finalised all the costs yet as some minor mods need to be made to productionise the conversion.Plus before I do another for someone else I want one for myself before I get too old to drive it;-)
mike

Mike

Glad to hear that the build got finished and the test at the 'ring was what you hoped for.

There had been a few minor leaks before you went so why were there so many unbelievers posting up above?

Don't they read the bbs? Do they just appear here to scoff? Can't they remember back more than 2 weeks?

It is unusual for me to reply on this BBS but I think Mr. shabba deserves a one.

“mike sutar and gerry van bender poof should stop shaggin and get a life”

Be assured Mr. shabba we have lives, in fact very interesting and constructive lives .We don’t shag each other as you put it however we do talk on the phone, a great deal, about some very interesting and exciting ideas, so in your small mind you would possibly refer to this as phone sex.

“hell no ur car looks 2 gay for my liking its pasted in gold enuf said”

Well II have to admit that the gold in the top coat and the gold leaf are not to every bodies taste however we could be all the same and boring if that’s the life you want. Now call me old-fashioned but to me the expression “gay” still means, “to be light hearted and happy” to which I must admit to being at times.

“the type r convesion was a big mistake and bullsh*t”

Now this is where you start to loose any credibility. The type r conversion was no mistake and until you have actually driven the car with this power band and six-speed c/r gearbox then I cannot see where you can comment.

MGH, Mad Gerry Hirons more like MAD GAY HOMO.

I know it’s a small point but if you really mean to be offensive do some research the spelling of my name.

MAD …yes I would admit to having my moments

GAY …yip sometimes gay, sometimes sad.

HOMO. Yes, definitely of the Homo sapiens species

Now Mr. Shabba, the only thing I can take offence at is the fact that you have signed in as from Glasgow. Being born and raised in east end of this wonderful city I can only say that your intolerant attitude and your fixation of homosexuals (perhaps your are struggling to come out) in no way reflects the true spirit of the tolerant, hard working and inventive people of Glasgow.

GERRY HIORNS

My apologies to the BBS for the length of this post

gerry

Maybe it's dementia setting in but I cannot remember posting about extracting 240bhp from the Honda engine, however there are several Honda tuning companies that have done so and with only a few modifications required. The supercharger is a specific 'kit' that will see well over 240bhp with ease.
Regarding Gerry's car, Mr Shabba, your opinion is your opinion and we all have one and to some extent entitled to air it but please get your facts correct.
The engine in the car is a civic type R 2litre and apart from a K-pro board a Hondata reflashed ecu and a custom induction/exhaust it is standard.
Maybe if you post your details to Gerry he can show you the car and clear up any misconceptions you have.
Mike.
