Thanks Paul That's Brilliant news! I will send the wife out to get it right now! |

It said the EVO was the best car on track by a country mile. Just that the 260 was the best car to live with. |

ONLY a country mile.... in my books that's inferior to an 'easier to live with' nautical mile, or statute mile come to that ..... lol. Any road up, how long IS a country mile as the crow or yocal flies ... ? We need to know these things.... ;-) >>>> And the winner is....... ZT260!<<<< Now that's what I call a real turn up for the books ...... Good for Autocar! |

Definition of a country mile: The distance between any two points outside of a major town. Ask a local yokel how far it is from Trottiscliffe (Kent) and Trusley (Derbyshire) and they'll tell you its about a mile. Ralph |

Brilliant news glad it won!! makes me feel that I didnt buy a duffer afterall. Would rather have the subtlety of the ZT rather than the whizz bang look how wide I am, rather naff and let's be frank...Passe image of the Evo/Scooby |

I agree Neil. This is great and significant news. Along with the Rover V8, Limo version and the recent facelifts this shows that MG-Rover are at an important cross-roads. This is either the end of the beginning or the beginning of the end. I know which I hope it is. |
