MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Duxford - Tomorrow

Just a quick note to say that the ZS is cleaned, shiney and looking superb, ready for the show tomorrow.

It's a fantastic motor and i'm well happy with it.

SF <---Fingers crossed for tomorrow's weather. :-)
Scarlet Fever

ZR cleaned and shiny too! Don't suppose Chipsaway will be at Duxford - first decent clean for a while and I've discovered one deep stone chip on the bonnet and a supermarket trolly type scratch on the side skirt :O(

Sorry to disapoint you but it's gonna rain boys...
Micheal Fish

Michael, you ought to make sure that your comments agree with your website (www.bbc.co.uk/weather).
That says it's going to be overcast, but dry.
JLD

The forecast has been contantly changing,
it was looking good just a few minutes ago:

Not looking so good now :-(
It's a good job that 80% of the the museum exhibits are under cover, so not no excuse for the lightweights!!

see u there
Kelvin

It's cats and dogs outside right now.....hope you took your brollies.

Typical Bank Holiday weather :-(
Micheal Fish

Torential sunshine, looks like M.Fish got it wrong - have arrived home with sunburn!!

K.
Kelvin

M Fish would have had more credibility if he could spell his own name correctly :o) In any case, lots of sun at Duxford and all stations between there and Berkshire, both am and pm. I think it's safe to assume MF must inhabit the damp dark bit oop north..... which may help explain why he's such a miserable pessimist.
David

Aren't all Northerners miserable?

Sorry - my prediction should have read "Torrential Sunshine" - ooops!
Michael Fish

Nice to see so many Z'eds, and congrats to SF2 for winning a prize.
Mike

>and congrats to SF2 for winning a prize<

Dont tell us he has 'dark-sided' it already:-)

Ted

Ted Newman

Ted,
No darkside (I think all cash/time is heading elsewhere) I think it was the only one of it's colour which made it different.
Mike
Mike

plus he was seen polishing it from time to time throughout the day.

Andy was also taking an interest in mods done to other ZSs. I think that the darkside beckons.
JLD

Sunburned too :-)

Excellent day out, well done guys.

Had a day off work today and spent much of it working on Scarlet (dash is now out completely, more info on the SOS site as usual). Must stop thinking about Kelvins exhaust...

SF <-- "The Force is strong with this one"
Scarlet Fever

Sunburned?? Shows you're an office (indoor) worker! :-)
Meglomaniac

Your point?
Kelvin

Good job I stayed away with my polished LMG zeddbeast else we'd have been fighting for it SF :-)

mickeyboy

"Your point?"

....Just a bit of humour, that's all!
Meglomaniac

Meglo, I do spend at lot of time indoors at work, but that because I'm a photgrapher, not much daylight in a darkroom!! :-)

Complete with cheesy grin! Blimey, it's a good job the car looks good, otherwise the photo would have been ruined!! :-)

Do you ever drive that car? My ZT seems to be peppered with small stone chips from the gritters etc and **** bikers that persist in squeezing past and pulling in front of me!

Glorious paint job, you must spend hours on that! Well done.
