| Guys, Thanks for your support. As mentioned the server that hosts XPF also hosts other sites, so I would never jeopardise those. Strange that people would think that I would - it was down to a line of code being corrupted by the hosters in the US - coincidence or what?. As of today, I don’t run or administer XPF, this is now down to Rob, John and Tony and I know will be much better for it, hence one of my reasons to stand down. The other reasons are personal, but if you read the XPF site you would know, instead of using conjecture. Clearly over the years I have made some enemies amongst the MGR World, but I have also made some fantastic friends and I know I will keep in contact with. Thanks to all those. | Jerry For the last 5 years or so you and i have crossed swords. I am sorry that you are now bowing out, i am surpized by this as i understood that you were running an Sv? Sorry that i was RIGHT about those no marks running MG. SORRY that everything I said would happen...did in the bitter end happen! | Jerry Thanks..........you too kind. I am sorry that things turned out so badly for MGR, i love engineering/Cars. My boy hood hero was Colin Chapman (LOTUS). I see very BIG problems ahead, LongBridge/Browns lane/Ryton.........where will it end? We are now entering a Ression here in the UK, i suspect things will bite hard in the winter.....House prices will FALL and rates WILL go up. I feel sorry for those who are now upto their eyes in debt.....they think rates of 5% are very High......Ho Ho Ho.....they are going to find out just how LOW 5 % is! We got to start making and exporting.....I myself have now done just that....in a small way, but its something. Mega |

| Patrick, whilst I agree with what you say, you are wrong in that the site now belongs to Steve Childs from MG-Rover.org. Will this have an effect on what we see on XPF. Probably, as Steve's site seems full of 'wannabees' who wish to turn their old rovers into MGs by just changing a few bits. |

| .org does have a lot of " modders " as does/did xpf, but overall it is a very well managed site that has become more actively patronised than xpf of late if xpf has a large enough contingent of die-hard MG supporters it will survive and prosper if steve allows the same level of moderation as he does on .org. if those who remain on xpf wish to see a continuation of the restrictive moderation as has been practised by those who fawn towards flint and his expensive toys then it will wither and die the way xpf has been managed by the egotistical flints it was always going to end in tears and tantrums from those who toadied to their whim to pour scorn on other mg centred forums and organisations good luck to steve and the vast majority of xpf members who enjoy their cars and the marque of friendship |
