MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Insuring ZT260!!!!!

I am old, I have a garage, I have 3 cars, Now guess how much I was quoted for cover on the forthcoming ZT260V8????

Get another 12 quotes. I once got some quotes for a Jaguar XJR and they ranged between £800 and £2300. That was only 4 quotes.

I've recently used them and, as a result, was able to reduce the premium on my other car from £600 to £400.

I was concerned about your £1,570 quote as I'm thinking of getting a ZT260. Using my existing personal details I got quotes of between £400 & £500 - i.e., about the same as my current vehicle.

Adrian Thanks I'll give it a go but I think that I should have tried getting a quote for this Group 19 car before plonking down my deposit
best so far £558 which is a massive improvement with Direct Line
but I have to get a tracker fitted ...

Best quote for me on a ZT260 was £405.45 from AXA, which is only a tenner more than I'm paying for my existing car from the same insurer.

Sounds very reasonable to me.
