MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Liverpool invaded!

Liverpool being invaded by MINI's

All of a sudden loads of BMW series1(Mini) have appeared! There was the odd one or two, now over the last few days' hordes of the bastards have appeared! I have even seen them on second hand car sites (Faulty rejects/ been repaired?) Well the que is forming for the Cooper-S, I wonder how long till that also becomes "Old hat"?

Never mind, saw my first ZR In Yellow today, there's hope yet. If they sort the seats:)

Mega, heres a thought for you. I own a R200 and I don't think the seats are too bad, but you do have a point.

However, why not go for a ZR 160 nad wack in a nice set of front Recaros, evan go for some full harness's, that way you would have a nice New MG with a top driving seat.

Thanks for your ideas, the answer is this:-
a. I mod a ZR, thus must tell insurance

B. I don't know if its possable to get a frame that will allow a lower polistion.

C. Everyone has asked for it (Autocar, Autoexpress, Tiff etc) so why don't they do it, and get to sell loads more!

I went to a MG lunch party, everyone present said the same thing. I CAN NOT understand WHY they don't just sort it. It can't be more than a weeks work for a couple of engineers!

Ok,

1.The isurance would be minimal, to add a new drivers seat.

2.If you carn't buy a frame, which i'm sure you can, you could always weld one up yourself.

3.There is a lad who has put a mk2 Gsi interior in a mk3 200 and the seating is much lower than original.

Takes 2 seconds (according to 4car) to break into a R400 (ZS) and R600. Oh well they can nick the Kenwood Radio cos its sh*te

That Kenwood CD/Radio is indeed sh1te! It sounded crap whatever I adjusted. Whipped it out of my TF and put my Pioneer Radio/Cass/6CD autochanger from my F in. Perfect. Anyway put the Kenwood in my wifes Focus and it sounds great? Strange, I think it must be the Focus acoustics/speaker match or locations.
