MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG on TOP GEAR
MG ZS v 172v Type R The Type r won of corse, the 172 was press car thus a "Ringer" and ZS was probaly not run in as yet. Well thats what i like think, besides would you want to drive a Honda that looks like across between a pregant potting shed and somthing out of Blakes7! |

Thru-out the show there were little glimses of MG, the bit where they were advertsing the BBC/Top Gear website, images of MG cars flashed up more than any other make of car!!! kelvin |

Isn't the main point the simple fact that the ZS180 was actually present and still 'bumping' the others at the finish? The frequency of MGs in the 'advertising' was considerable. How does this compare with even just 12 months ago? Rog |

Yes Rog and don't forget that MGR will be producing hotter still versions of the ZR and ZS. That will wipe the smile of the face of Honda! |

......Anything with a gearstick poking out of the dash deserves to be treated with the same comtempt as a Renault 4. |

Two hatchbacks versus a saloon - doesn't seem quite right to me. Surely they should have been using the ZR160 to compare it to the other two hatchbacks? Then the ZR160 would win on price alone. Martin |
