MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - MG ZT-V8 entered in DTM 2005
It has been reported that MGRover are entering the 2005 DTM championship with a V8 MG or most likely (for some reason) a Rover. A 4 car team is also reported. Nothing seems to be official by MGRover but the DTM website says it all. Anyone else heard any info? |

I've only heard as much as you Steve. The Rover badging of the race car is surprising, but some have suggested that this is SAIC's influence, since they see more value in the Rover brand in China than MG. Rather a lot of heresay I am afraid. We'll have to wait to hear what MGR themselves say. |

Good looking tool - if half as good in the flesh, punters will like it. Marketing it as a Rover could be a sensible ploy, bearing in mind those far eastern links - if, or is it when they come to pass. |

Shame they photo-shopped a Mk1 ZT, as I am sure that they'll use a Mk2 'look' for the final car. Look forward to hearing more about this beastie! :o) |
