MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Mudguards/Mudflaps

I have notice on some Rover 45s that they are fitted with front mudguards/mudflaps/splashguards? Does anyone know if these would fit on the ZS? If they are available, are colour coded items available?

Cheers

Don't know if they are available for the ZS but MGR dealers now have the new accessories catalogue and it has things like fitted front mats in it - finally a set which fit around the boot release lever, so it may be worth asking at your local dealership.

Are the new performance bits in the catalouge yet?

Dare I metion it, New Seats??

Most of the items in the new catalogue are rebadged Rover items - roof racks, cycle holders etc.

There are some replacement items of trim such as chrome door mirror housings but I don't think that there are, as yet, any performance items.

If I can get hold of a copy I'll have a good look but my local dealer was only sent 2 copies and these went to sales and parts departments.

I will call MG direct and ask for a copy!!

Picked up my new footwell mats today - at last some that fit, and found that the dealers had a good supply of new accessory brouchures.

They had only just been delivered so it may be that all dealers are now getting supplies.

Hi,
As my location is somewhat "rural" and the four legged locals sometimes leave "deposits" on the roads, the subject of mudfleps was raised by me direct to the factory in August. The answer was "No Sir, Rover 45 mudflaps can't be fitted to a ZS 180 because of the flared sills and we have no intentions of producing any because of the lowered suspension".

Looks like regular car washes for me then!!!!
Can't wait for the aftermarket people to produce alloy lower sill covers to stop the stones and mud from damaging the paint.
