MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Number Plate
Hi, can anyone tell me where to get the shaped rear number plate i see on some ZT/75's as i really think it looks good on the car and why do some of us only have the normal ones. Thanks Kev |

I agree they look good that's why I changed mine, the reason some have straight plates is cost! I changed mine via my local mg garage, you should have no problem using a local motor factors just ask around, but don't forget you will need to produce identity and your log book before they will order it and use double sided pads to attach the plate don't try and match up any screw holes. |

I think that fancyplates.com will also do these too - ours has the nasty standard shape plates, and definitely needs the 'proper' sized ones to finish off the back tailgate! :o) |

The ZT number plate cost me gbp60 !!! thats why some don't get a "shaped" one . Mike. not yearning yet for the open roads ! as top down motoring here needs a good suntan lotion and A/c :-) oh and a hat to protect the head, |

You're welcome Kev. Have you bought one yet? Will have to order some plates for the other MG shortly... |

Ive got a shaped plate in the back of mine and it looks like a great big ugly slab of yellow with a huge bar code of a number on it RY 04 DZT if it wasnt for the ZT bit it would be doing my head in! I see that FC 03 OFF still is up for sale! as are variations on SD OFF and BG OFF but so is X 40WER and X19 NJW now that really would confuse :¬) |
