MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Service Indicator
Can anyone tell me how I can reset the next service mileage on the ZT dash readout Mike. |
Mike (Mersea) |
Yeah get it serviced! There is a plughole under the dash that has a garage device (black box) pressed into it during your service. That resets your service indicator. |

Aftermarket service indicator resetting tools are available for BMW and VW, but I've never seen any for MG / Rover. |

see this... http://forums.mg-rover.org/showthread.php?t=76910 pins 4 and 8 in the socket. short them for a 8 seconds when the oil/inspection light comes on when you have turned the ignition key to position. You didn't see me orrright! |

I just knew someone would have the answer :-) thanks, and yes I did get it serviced but at a local indy who just so happens to do Race & Rally performance tuning :-) M. |

And OMG it does work, you just have to do it for the correct amount of time !!! Inspection 15K :-) Mike |

just keep on top of the necessary changes. Oil, fluids, belts brakes etc not too difficult, hey it is an MG after all! ;¬) |

It just cost £304.00 for it's service, so resetting the indicator was a bonus. Mike. |
Mike (Mersea) |
that price included the mot, brake pads , front spot lamp etc. M. |
