MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - Service Indicator

Can anyone tell me how I can reset the next service mileage on the ZT dash readout
Mike.
Mike (Mersea)

Yeah get it serviced!

There is a plughole under the dash that has a garage device (black box) pressed into it during your service. That resets your service indicator.

Neil

Aftermarket service indicator resetting tools are available for BMW and VW, but I've never seen any for MG / Rover.

pins 4 and 8 in the socket.
short them for a 8 seconds when the oil/inspection light comes on when you have turned the ignition key to position.

Oil, fluids, belts brakes etc
not too difficult, hey it is an MG after all!

It just cost £304.00 for it's service, so resetting the indicator was a bonus.
