As i see it gang, next years MGR's will need a couple of dare i say it "Mega" MG's.

Look at what's either here or on the way. Astra GSI ( turbo 200 bhp) Honda type R (At mo 200 bhp) Works Cooper-s (Super charged 200).

We need a ZR Turbo/Super charged somthing!
Come on MGR (and don't forget the seats).

If MG-R are working on a Sub B MGZR based car can we have a supercharged 200bhp K-series in one of those please?

Sell it for 12K. With free insurance for a year. It wouldn't, philosophically, be a replacement for the Mini Cooper S, but then again neither is the MINI Cooper S.

For missed the point with the Fiesta-based Ka. Ford made the Fiesta better by making it smaller, lighter and just...more wantable. And then it decided to equip it with the measly old pushrod Anglia engine (less powerful than the A-series in its final permutation) when a 1.7 litre Puma unit would have been far more satisfying.

Supercharged K series has been done before to K series but it was in a lotus elise!

This is a Turbo Technics conversion Kelvin - and is also available for aftermarket fitting to MGFs, and doubtless, LandRover Freelanders too.

MGR have yet to produce an 'official' supercharged K - but I'm keeping my finders crossed! :o)

rover already have equipped cars with superchargers, they used to have a bubble rover 200 equipped with a sequential box and supercharger that was about three years ago i think

In a interview with one of the head honcoes at MGR he said that the Rally derived ZR is availble as a customer option.

Anyone know how much and what you actually get.

ZR and ZS Turbos? Sorry Ann i have had my leg lifted on this subject before. If they are coming i see no sign what so ever. A case of "Wishful thinking"

I tend to agree with "Ann MG Writer," these cars have been promised for while. They are the missing "Ultimate models" and will be out on the streets - probably when the ZT260 is launched.

i.e 3 x Ultimate cars together!
