MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - What happened at Donnington?

Just got back from Cadwell park and put the ceefax on to find the MG's had not had a good day(so it would seem) so what's the story then?
John O

Both MG's ran well in the rounds, well in front of the Lexus and Alfas at times, and roughly running at the pace of the Pugs.

We nearly had a MG podium with Reid in third, helped partly by a rain storm causing the Safety Car to some out as cars slipped off on Slicks.

As race resumed Reid and Bennet where pushing hard and, I think bennet tagged Reid (Although I didn't fully see it) spinning him off with 2 laps to go.

Bloody Astra drivers!!

Brands Hatch podiums for MG???
David Harasym

We'll have to wait and see, some drivers should run in banger racing instead of saloon cars perhaps MG should use nudge bars and shovel all them bloody astra's off . Revenge would be so sweet.

Pictures if anyone is interested.. not so much of the race, but of the event generally.

I spied your MGF steve in the VIP car park

Reid was Running 4th with 3 laps to go, and passed Plato coming into the chicane to take 3rd spot, Unfortunately Plato retook the place coming onto the start finish straight, then Reid got taken off by Bennett - FOUL PLAY I thought.
They both ran very well, although it seemed to me they both took a while to really start shifting in both races.
I hate to say it, but I was really impressed with the pace of the Pug's, they looked awesome at times.
Why do the MG's sound so girly compared to the rest of the field ?

Kelvin, not sure. I'm at Anglesey on the 6th for a track day, don't know if I can make both :( - Can't exactly miss the rear of my car can you ;) The problem with my digital camera is that its not good for pictures of moving cars, it tends to blur them and takes too long to focus. I need to sort something else out for pictures of cars.

Kieren, I know what you mean, there was a definiate tone difference there, more raspy as opposed to rumbly.

Just a foot note, the ZR at cadwell didn't go to bad either just a pity it only did three laps as it was raining and they didn't want to damamge the car. It was released on to the track about 30 seconds after the others had gone and within one lap it was right up with the back of the pack. (1300cc MG cars).
