MG ZR ZS ZT Technical - zs180 replacement vis butterflies
I heard from Roger Parker that someone in Solihull is fabricating replacement butterfly assemblies for the inlet manifold. Anybody know anything about this?? |

Doesn't Roger know more? |

Not much Paul. The guy who makes the assemblies is only contactable through the xpower forum. I have sent him an email requesting a set. He is charging about £75 but I havent heard back. The MGOC workshop have already done the modification to an inlet manifold and still have it available. bob |

I have read that the problem is parting the two halves of the assembly they are in, as this seems to be welded plastic with a high risk of fatal damage. Heard anything about this? |

The MG Owners club workshop have done one but you have to be very careful apparently! Sorry I took so long to respond |

Heard from someone who rather than dismantle is replacing his VIS unit and got it complete with motors and seals for £495 which is less than I had expected. |

Vulcan Racing (Pete Burchill or Eddie) can get new VIS motors at a very keen price. http://www.vulcanracing.co.uk/ |
