Have I missed all the posts on this car? Or is no-one interested?

It got a great write-up in Autocar last week ...'Smooth powerful new top of the range MG Salon which ... should stimulate demand ... only drawback is short range.' and (paraphrased) '...rear drive ZT260 MG has exciting new product...'

The whole article was very positive.

Saw the review, seemed very positive. The only doubt I have from your brief extract stems from the phrase "MG Salon" - is it a hairdresser's car??

Good point! I think the performance alone rules out that category... as well as my mis-speller! I will write Saloon 100 times as a punishment (cut and paste on the quiet...)

I think the problem is that we all write masses about these cars which are then delayed so long to launch that people have moved on to other things.
Similar thing now happening to the City Rover.
