MG MGA - 2nd Edition 'Call it MGA'
My copy of the new book arrived today, and after a quick flick through I can tell it is a big step up from the already truly excellent 1st Edition. I can highly recommend it as an great buy, and would like to thank the authors for the hard work it obviously took to put together. Thanks to Roger and Piers. |

Good to know that these books have been shipped as I was about to send out a note inquiring about the signed copy I ordered a few months ago. Looking forward to receiving it! |

Gary Edition1 is 112 pages; edition 2 is 176 pages. 12 chapters instead of 8. Obvious additions include Notable Journies; Special Bodied Cars; Motor Sport - The Privateers is split into 2 chapters, UK and Around The World; and the 12 Chapter is Sixth Decade and Beyond. I have not had a chance to get beyond the Contents list yet, just a quick flip through. Looks a very interesting read with masses of photos. Steve |

They are waiting for you to write the tools chapter for the next edition Gordon! |

Talk about timing; my copy arrived this morning. Beautifully produced, top quality with many, many photos and stories. Look forward to some personal time with "Call It MGA". |

To add to Steve's comments, the new edition is also printed on a better quality paper than the orginal as well. |

No, no, the next edition has a chapter on MGA scale models - I have already volunteered photos of the 400+ in my collection ! I think Piers and Roger probably want a rest first...... |

Has anybody got a link to where a regular, unsigned copy may be purchased? Google was not really forthcoming. -Del |

Hi Cam, no where near qualified to do that I still manage to buy fakes :) |

Hi unless I missed it in the book there doesn't seem to be any mention of Simon Robinson in the book which I find a little odd as he was Mr MGA for much of the 1970's when no one else took any notice of them, I just wondered if there was a reason for it or if it was just an oversight? cheers Gordon |

No thoughts anyone ? |
