MG MGA - Anchors for brake line

I have a rattle caused bythe brake line hitting the vent on the cowl of my 1600, also the line is hitting the firewall. I seem to be missing some brake line anchors. can someone tell me and maybe post a picture of where these anchor are supposed to be.

The car is a '61 1600 Mk1 roadster.

Thanks,
Jim

Is this it?

Is this what you are talking about? I routed the pipes along the firewall and up to the M/C. Three double clips on the firewall and four on the M/C bolts.

Steve, No tht was not it.
Jim That is it. A great picture. Now I know how to correct the issues caused by the DPO.

Nice one Steve! I opened that picture and was reduced to laughter and tears for a good five minutes, I've only just finished cleaning up the mess! How many years have you been waiting to use that one?
Lindsay Sampford

Well I too thought it was funny Steve! never mind!

Excellent brake anchor Steve - was it off your old Lightning?

I have an extra one of those. Perhaps I should carry it in the passenger seat and use it as an emergency braking system!

I apologise for my sense of humour, but I could not resist that one, but never knock someone for not laughing. We all have our own tastes and it was a genuine question. However, I had to stop myself today from posting a smoking carb picture!

There's the military life for you. Humour and taking the mickey eased the living of life on the edge. I remember when I had just bailed out of my jet and thought the navigator was dead. A nurse came into my hospital room and as she wrote my name on the bed plaque, said: "Flight Lieutenant Gyles, oh you are the boy who ejaculated." It eased a very stressful moment in my life and humour has since stuck.

Cheers to all

Steve

Ps. He survived.

Hummor however twisted is good. We all need to laugh at ourselves. After all look at what we choose to drive. I would not have it any other way!!!
