MG MGA - Antenna
Put a radio in a 1960 MGA but dont want to drill a hole for a antenna so I bought a hidden antenna but cant figure out where to place the end that needs to be above any metal parts tryed sticking it under the dash but wont get a good signal was told it needs to be above dash..Any suggestions |

Don't know which hidden antenna you have, but about the only place you could stick it that would work would be on the windshield. Any antenna is going to need to be away from any metal. If you didn't want to attach it permanantly, you could get some of the clear plastic suction cups to try it out on the windshield. |

Thanks Jeff thats a good idea I really didnt want to stick it to the body just in case it would mark the paint up. |

I love this Jetson's antenna that came on my car. I have been unable to figure out where it came from; if anyone knows, please yell.

Fairly common flavor I think. Might have been J.C.Whitney (or Warshawski&Co back in the day). Got curb feelers too? |

No curb feelers, but the whitewalls are port-o-walls.

Have a look at "tune trapper". http://www.ecshylites.com/page/page/761353.htm Have no idea if their claims are true nor any experience with them. |
