MG MGA - blower motor switch mounting
OK, so my blower motor switch is bad. Have sourced a new one, on the switch plate. When installing the switch plate on the temperature control housing, is the blower motor switch facing up or down? Thanks! George |

THe po of my car had commented that the heater didn't work. When I got round to checking out the valve and so on I discovered (in reading Barney's pages) that the whole heater control assembly can be fitted either way up and that getting it wrong reverses the controls. That sorted it! |

Dominic, it looks like it is facing down on Barney's website....? It shows up in the SPL however. |

Illustration in the SPL is incorrect. It can physically be mounted upside down, which results in the temperature control working backward. When moving the heat control knob to the left, the control has to pull on the wire to close the water valve for summer cruising. |
