MG MGA - Body dolly (not the car show type)

Does anyone have the dimensions for a simple dolly to be made of 2 x 4's for the MGA body? (I checked the archives but this topic has been removed) My project is a '58 coupe, but all years and models should be the same. Thanks, Peter.

I made a dolly of quite small cross section wood. With suitable cross bracing it was easily strong enough for the body. I made it wide enough and high enough for the rolling chasis to be moved in and out between the legs. I also put castor wheels on the bottom of the legs.

Sorry, I don't have the dimensions, but these can be easily worked out.

Dimensions I do not have. I made one which was wide enough by a few inches to fit around the frame and tall enough to fit over the goalposts on the frame. This way it can be wheeled off in either direction or the frame can be wheeled out from under the body. I added some corner bracing for rigidity. The rear boot fits on the higher horizontal and the F section rests on the lower horizintal. I have a couple of photos:the first is a good shot of the dolly itself,the second is with the body on the dolly.

Peter, I made a wood dolly to move my body around while working on the chassis. I later modified it with angle iron to be used in painting etc. It bolted to four of the body to frame attachment points and was mounted on casters. Image attached.

Thanks everyone. I like the Eclectic version, and Jim's is simple.
Once I've made something similar, perhaps I'll post a drawing for future reference by others.

I just used a piece of rolling scafolding that had enough clearance to roll over the rolling chassis. It worked great. I can't find any pictures and can't believe I didn't take pictures of it.
