MG MGA - British Car Shows USA 2012

If anyone knows of any definite 2012 dates for British Car events in the USA for the period May/June/July, please let me know. We have 12 Australian MG's being shipped to the USA in April 2012 for a 3 month tour of USA & Canada (CANAM 2012)and I would like to plan the tour to attend as many motoring events as possible. We already have a couple of WWII air shows lined up.

If anyone in Australia is interested in this tour, then contact me by email.

The Connecticut MG Club, Ltd. has it's annual car show in Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, CT on the first Sunday in June. The monthly general club meeting is the first Tuesday of the month at Farrell's Restaurant in Portland, CT. E-mail me closer to the time you'll be here, and we'll try to set-up something for you.

This may be so obvious it's not worth mentioning, but, you should get in touch with NAMGAR and NAMGBR. I'm betting they would be happy to put you in touch with affiliated clubs and activities, maybe even arrange something for you.

The Portland (Oregon) All British Field Meet is Labor Day weekend, August 31 through September 3 in 2012, a bit late for your schedule. But if you decide to extend your tour, there are hundreds of British cars on display, vintage racing, and a swap meet.

The Denver to Glenwood Srings Ralley is the second weekend of June every year. There is a time speed distance ralley for the competitive types and a more casual tour where you follow clues and answer questions. There is a car show and a autocross in Glenwood.

Steve, we are trying to cover as much ground as we can..even getting to GT-37 if possible (Ohio). 90 days, and it's a big place!

Good to hear from you again. We would be pleased to see you all in beautiful British Columbia mid August for the 43rd annual CCMGC Heritage Classic in Vancouver.
