Hello Barney, do you have another one for me? Giovanni |

There will be 2nd edition out by the end of the year...presently being prepared I believe. |

Well, before anyone else asks, Phil decided not to take it after discovering the international shipping shipping cost. USPS Priority Mail International is about $25-USD for slightly over 2-pounds weight. I don't think shipping cost that much when I bought the book. Does anyone know a cheaper way to ship it from USA to Europe? |

I'm trying to rack my old brain, but it seems to me that we used to be able to send packages to the U.K. by Parcel Post, and I don't remember it costing near as much as Priority Mail....I'm pretty sure everything goes by air now anyway...Takes a little longer, though. You still have to go through Customs , no matter how you send it. Edward |

There is some advantage so shipping international via the common Postal Service. There are reciprocal agreements on handling common mail packages, and apparently a lot postal service mail goes direct to the recipient without being touched by Customs. Maybe it depends on the appearance of the package, like how suspicions it might look in comparison to the attached customs form. I will check into Parcel Post. At least it seems to be substantially slower. |

You can check out the various options on usps.com. You just have to give the dimensions, weight and destination and it comes up with all the possible options from express to slowboat. |
