We were not quite so fortunate with our MGAs in 2018 on our Outer Hebrides adventure Steve.
This is a Youtube clip which shows what happened when we stopped overnight at a hotel in Penrith after a 250 mile journey down from Oban.

At first, I was quite amused at my friend Stuart Mumby's dismay after finding that, overnight, his car had become covered in bird poo.
But I wasn't quite so amused when I realised that my MGA had been similarly targeted :^(

The morale of this story is that you should try to avoid parking your MGA under a tree!

Unfortunately we have a telephone wire that runs the length of the drive that pigeon like to sit on. This causes a major bird poo issue for our daily cars but luckily the A is in the garage. I did have a bad poo experience a few years ago outside a hotel near Oban and didn’t clean it off immediately and I found it can do permanent paint damage!
