MG MGA - Carpet Adhesive
There's been a lot of grief on the thread lately, here's a positive: nearing the end of my 1960 roadster restoration, I'm installing new carpets. Bought a can of Lepages "GREEN" water based contact cement; no toxic high(maybe not a plus), no smell, no stringing, and less instant adhesion. It's watery and easy to brush on and has great final adhesion. At my age, my evening martini is the only 'high' I can cope with. Bob Prentice

Art, if you're anywhere near Ottawa, don't miss "All British Car Day" at Britannia Park...today (July 12). Weather forecast is good for a change so there should be a good turn out of 200-ish cars (see http://www.britishcarday.ca).

Bob and Andy , Thanks. I missed the Ottawa event, but Kingston is in the diary! I'm in New Dublin, near Brockville.
