Interesting snippet in the 'Money Mail' section this morning of the oracle of truth - the Daily Mail.

"...worryingly, the Historic Automobile Group International research firm warns that the market for classic cars is running out of steam after years of stellar growth."

I dont think these people see an MGA as a classic car, their data seems to be amassed using Ferrari and Porsche data etc, the 100.000 data entries would seem to be new "Classic" cars I would guess.

Possibly, although part of the article talked about the increase in value of the VW Golf Mk1. So not all super car statistics.

Some Phd student somewhere could write a paper on the indirect impact on the classic car market of the Brexit vote and the current world economic malaise...

It's kind of nice that my cars value appears to have appreciated by up to £1000 per year over the last 8 years.
It has always been my 1st line of defence when "SWMBO" queries just how much I have been spending on it!☺

Well perhaps I will now have to come up with another excuse to justify the MGA bills!

To be honest though,so long as I can drive it, I will keep it.
And when the time comes that I can't drive it any more, I will probably still keep it so I can just look at it!😊

Looking at it. HWMBO yet to commit! Could be solo!

I diversified after the Brexit vote as no intention of parting with the car. I punted on shares when they dropped like a stone the day after. I am Currently 30% up. Now the dilemma, sell or keep on the rising market!
