MG MGA - Coupe door trim attachment question
Greetings, On the leading top/hinge side of the coupe door, just under and in front of the vent window frame, there is a small (about one inch square) trim piece. There is a hole in the center to attach this in place. Since I can't seem to remember, my question is, is a screw or pop-rivet used to attach this. There is a rectangular piece similarly located on the latch edge of the door that is held in place by two pop-rivets but for some reason, I have the idea that the smaller front piece used a small screw? I know it's a little thing but if I can put it back the way it was for no more effort, why not do so. Thanks! |

Robert, on my coupe those small pieces were riveted to the door. George |

Hey guys, This may seem like a strange request, but at some point, maybe this winter, I am going to have my coupe doors re-skinned. I peeled the skins off some time ago to address rust issues with the door frames, and those pieces have been misplaced...could I get a couple of pics of the leading and trailing pieces in place. I appreciate it. Cheers, doug |

Hello All, I'm looking for the two pieces for a right hand Coupe door that are described by Robert in the first post. Is anyone able to help me out? Obviously I'm prepared to pay a reasonable price plus postage. Thanks. |

R Fisher, You might try Scarborough Faire @(800)MGPARTS and ask Cecelia. She has a few coupe parts cars and might be willing to help you out. Good luck!!! |
