MG MGA - Dealer windscreen sticker
I was given a blank repro windscreen sticker a few years ago, and have made it up with the details of my car complete with the installed options at their correct prices at the time (or at least as far as I can tell the prices are correct) It always gets comments when I stick it on the windscreen, and as it's become a bit shabby, I have just printed a new one out, and thought I'd offer the blank scan for others to create one for their own cars. If you would like a copy, send me an email Dominic ![]() |

Hi Dominic, the image you posted is not downloading a picture, only a blank square. Can you possibly check it out please. I am not excluding the fact that it could be my computer playing up. Thanks Frank |

Dominic, I just tried downloading images which other people have posted on different threads, but without success. It must be my PC playing tricks on me. Would it be too much to ask you to send me the pic as an attachment to an email? Frank |

For Bob Wrenn: Unfortunately your Bellsouth server rejects my email, I'll send you the file from work tomorrow. For Frank: You have mail Dominic |

I have mailed all who responded with the blank image, but one or two seem to think I will post you a copy. Sorry, but you will have to print your own....! |

I have mailed all so far with a file in the last few minutes. If you haven't received one and made a request, please put a message here I'll update the website and post a link in the next few days for all others, the response has been overwhelming! I never expected it to be such a popular idea. In response to the requests about where I found the prices, I have to say it has been a variety of sources, including a Hambro's price list from 1961. It may be a good idea for all to post their final option prices here so that we get a little consistency. I'd be particularly interested in seeing some original adverts for the cost of a radio in 1959, as here I am guessing a bit from european prices and converting. |

I also have a list of all the Hambro Sales Agents around the USA, so if you need that info mail me and I'll dig out the one that appears to be closest. I may need some help as although I have been to 43 US states, I don't know all the various cities off the top of my head. |

Dominic, what is the size of your Hambro windscreen sticker? I just found one I purchased from British Tool Company in 2006, and it is 5.5" x 8.5". Trying to determine if that's per original dimensions. Thanks! |

Dimensions sound about right |

Hi Dominic - interesting to see the price for the extras on the MGA in USA - $56 for a radio sounds rather expensive for 1959! Are you planning any more trips to the Ormskirk area? - cheers Cam |

Cam Nothing on the horizon trip-wise. I too was surprised, but electronics have become much cheaper ver the last 60 years |
