MG MGA - Ebay UK users

Anyone notice that when searching Ebay UK for MGA bits, there are now 75,000 entries! This has come about by the trade dealers somehow being able to put e.g. all their spare brake parts for multiple vehicles on a multitude of sites. I know that one can reduce the 75,000 figure by minusing various items in the search heading, but this only reduces the items by about 1000 at a time. Has anyone found a way to show ONLY MGA items?

Gary, it drives my crazy ! There are also 000's of childrens toys that somehow have something to do with MGA's...

I haven't found a way of cutting out the rubbish other than keeping a regular check and searching by "newly listed" so I only go through the fresh stuff

My brain must be twinned with you. I was going to post almost identical yesterday. The first search came up with 113,000 hits. I got it down to a sensible figure when I selected 'MGA Roadster' from the drop down menu. If you know some of the main suppliers or products that are making up the numbers you can block them in the search with a - sign. e.g. 'mga roadster -febi -mobil' etc.

I just search for used items, cuts out all the crap that is available cheaper new from the traditional suspects

Good tip Dominic. Just tried it. Cut it from 113,000 to 348.
