MG MGA - England At Its Best

What a Spring we are having.

Steve,
I wish we were so lucky. The roads in the Canadian Rockies in our area, were just starting to clear up, but yesterday we had a 25 cm dump of snow. My snow blower had to work hard to clear the driveway. The skiing is still great, but I'm starting think about the open roads after seeing your picture. Enjoy.

It's all set to change!..we jet out to Europe and UK this weekend, and the usual will happen as in past years when we have arrived i.e. wet, damp, and even the squirrels have cold nuts!
Gary Lock

You are right Gary - I got soaked on the way home as I drove through a thunderstorm - top down of course.

It's already summer here in missouri. Just finished frame off restoration of 58 roadster. first drive this week. What fun.

Steve,

I love the way you have the old (MGA), the new (cars in your wing mirror) and traditional (cricket) all in one photo, it's like a little slice of England!

Without doubt some places in the UK are the most picturesque and idyllic in the world (we lived and worked there for a short time in the 1960's and have been back several times, including taking our MGA 1600 roadster over there in 1996), although the weather is sometimes a "downer". I am an old bloke now and overseas travel is probably no longer on the agenda!

Tried to upload photo of restored 58. didn't work , guess I need a 5 year old's help! will try again

We're having great weather here in China, but unfortunately, my 1600 is back in the States. The closest thing I've seen lately was a Miata driving down the coast road.

Cleve Crews

Nice photo. Is that Ockley?
