Well this is the new MGA gold! A flash to pass switch just sold on ebay for £235.03, that's over $350 US. |

That's good to see Neil, maybe someone will reproduce them then |

That crazy price is still not up with original Judson boost gauge prices, but it is still pretty eye watering! |

So whats the switch and an original relay worth? I've got both. |

I looked at the switch when it was £9.99. When i went to bid on it it had jumped to £180 - i didn't bid. Much as i like originality there is a line to be drawn. I have now bought a chrome shaft flasher switch and will resin the stalk shape to look like an original. I will be happy. |

I purchased a Lucas 23A flasher switch in 2010 paying AU$100 for it, if you want a cheap version http://www.holden.co.uk product 020.145 switch long black lever (rounded similar to the 23A) @ £10.73 The 2 differences - it is not uni directional like the 23A and although the same length it is a little slimmer with a positive make sprung break as should be. The 23A I purchased has a miniscule movement which is less than the 5mm that MGA Guru Barney mentions. I have measured the make/break on my multimeter and although it works need a fair bit of pressure |

I never go fast enough that I would have to use. It's pretty rare that I pass anybody. But that's me... Cheers. |

Should be called the "flash to say hello!" switch. |

I just flash my spotlights by pulling the F switch. Steve |

...Or the "flash to say cop with radar gun ahead!" switch. |
