MG MGA - Front wheel alignment
Seeking some expert advice. Mine's a twin cam, but I assume similar principles apply to all MGA. Just checked tracking and find 1.5mm toe out measured at wheel outer rim. Workshop Manual recommends parallel. Is this a material difference or within margin of error? Does it matter even if accurate? Should I bother adjusting it to zero? Bruce. |

Toe-out might make it a bit twitchy in a straight line. |

Set it dead on factory spec. That is excessive toe out. It will affect the handling. |

On a car like this where zero toe in is specified, if I had to be off a little one way or the other I would allow a little toe in, but never a little toe out. |

Personally I like about 1/16" or 3mm toe in. |

Thanks all. Looks like I will be adjusting it this afternoon. |
