MG MGA - Front & Rear Steel Wings Wanted in UK ?


Does anyone have any steel wings they want to sell?

UK Based please. Or some leads as to who may have them, other than the usual sources which I have already tried?

1500 type is preferable.

Have you tried Paul Chamberlain? Otherwise, although not in the UK, Ludwig Lawrenz had a huge pile of them last time I visited

Yes Steve, I've seen the heathrow items but they don't show proper photos. Often the repro one's don't have all the wing bolt holes stamped out and you have to spend hours and hours fitting them.

Anyone got any experience with these ones?

Hi Mark, I haven't experience of these wings - as you know i'm repairing some originals. Not only do you need to check on the bolt holes but also on the few captive nuts that are required.

I am just about to weld some wire on the front wing to door edge so as to close up the panel gap!

I managed to purchase one Rear Left last week, but still need the other three.

Anyone else got any for sale ?

There some really bad one's on eBay at present.
