MG MGA - Fuel tank ground
Is there a special ground wire for the fuel tank and sender? I see a chassis ground from the rear of the loom but nothing that looks dedicated to the tank. |

The fuel tank is grounded via the fuel pipe itself, and the pipes attachment clips. |

Ok thanks Gary. |

If you cut the steel fuel pipe and connect the pump with hoses, you should add a grounding wire to the tank. |

I'm OK Barney, metal up to the mounting clip, then there is a short section of rubber hose as it's an MGB pump used. |

A P-clip on a pipe is not a reliable ground connection. Add a grounding wire from one of the sender unit screws to the tab on the frame nearby. |

OK! |
