MG MGA - Fuel tank ground

Is there a special ground wire for the fuel tank and sender? I see a chassis ground from the rear of the loom but nothing that looks dedicated to the tank.

The fuel tank is grounded via the fuel pipe itself, and the pipes attachment clips.

If you cut the steel fuel pipe and connect the pump with hoses, you should add a grounding wire to the tank.

I'm OK Barney, metal up to the mounting clip, then there is a short section of rubber hose as it's an MGB pump used.

A P-clip on a pipe is not a reliable ground connection. Add a grounding wire from one of the sender unit screws to the tab on the frame nearby.
