MG MGA - Hood frame
The rivetted joints in the hood frame all have what appears to be a copper spacer in them. They are all nice and snug except those closest to the mounting brackets, which are worn and sloppy. Is there any easy way to fix this without removing the steel rivets, which are all nice and tight? |

Thanks Barney. Not sure where to buy them, but I can make something similar. Why are the two rear hoops tacked to the side frames, whereas the front one is not? |

i think the rivets by the mounting brackets need to have a fair bit of play in them for ease of using the frame. John |
