MG MGA - Hood Frame Colour ?

Hi Guys,

Could someone tell me what shade of beige paint I should buy to repaint an old rusty hood frame please?

I could not find this info on Barney's site:

The Moss color seems very close to me; it matched perfectly the unfaded original paint on my frame found under the wind buffer covering the second rib.

Started the cleaning and sanding of my top frame today. See, your thread got me out to the garage. I noticed weld spots on some of the ribs that are broken. Are these necessary or are the screws enough?

That's a good question David! I would think that the fact they are broken suggests that there is some strain on the joint and maybe the screws will come loose. That said, I assume it has stayed in one piece until now!

Anyway, seeing as the are going to paint it, it would seem like a good idea to fix the welds! But I am guessing that if you had a welder handy, you wouldn't need to ask the question?
