Mustn't it be wonderful to live in a country that has SPACE, where kids can play in the road without being knocked down,abducted,bullied,etc? Mind you here they stand a fair chance of getting home from school without being shot by your local neighbourhood gun toting looney.

I'm so interested by the impressions from the UK!

We're very fortunate to live in a place where there's room to spread out.

Our subdivision is bordered by a state park on one side. There are 63 homes. There is one entrance and the road is a perfect 1/2 mile loop.

Mind you that doesn't mean we haven't pissed off our neighbor.....every neighborhood in every country has a grumpy old biddy.

Actually our odds of getting shot by a loonie on the way to school are very, very slim. As everyone knows all our children carry guns so we generally get the loonies first.
