MG MGA - Just a nice photo

Twin Cam, 1950cc MGA and 1950cc MGB, taken while drinking a VERY good bottle of white in the shade of the chalet!

Agreed, nice photo, cars and location DC but you can't leave it there.

We need to know what type of wine was consumed? (French, German, red, white etc)
John Bray

Judging by the colour of the cars John, I think it has to be a mature and un-tinted wine that has been produced in the UK by a vineyard situated in England.

Does anyone produce an OEW Chardonnay? :^)

I agree it is a great view which is enhanced even further by the lovely mountain scenery in the background!

Dominic, enter it in UK MGCC 90th anniversary photo competition. The more MGAs in the competition the better!
All the details on their website.

The MGB in the pix looks like mine.

Mike, I am not a member but if you would like to enter the photo on my behalf I would be very happy for you to do that.

The photo was taken after a group outing in the Valais, and we were on our way home and stopped to take a break at the house of the B owner, who is also a wizard at setting up twin and triple SUs. The location is Giswil in Switzerland, which is south of Lucerne on the road to the Brünig Pass and Interlaken. The background is the Berner Oberland.

For John: The wine was a bottle of 2017 Grain Arvine de Fully from one of the best properties in the Valais (google Marie-Therese Chappaz) and went down VERY nicely to round of a good weekend !

It's raining in Wolverhampton....

Just thought I would share that....

Another three MG’s, but not such pretty scenery!

I also meant to say they are an A, a B and a C.

Dominic, you don’t have to be a member of MGCC UK but only a member of your local MG car club.
Cheers

WOW!

Thanks Dominic, you just made my day!

Mike

I was able to enter using a completely made up MG Car Club member number, thanks for the suggestion.

There are a lot of very nice photos, but mine was just as we parked them gasping for liquid on a very, very hot day. I may be biased, but I think the Swiss scenery clinches it!
