MG MGA - Lift the Dot and Tenax Fasteners

One question..will "lift the dot" fasteners work on Tenax bases?

They are different fasteners, a lift the dot might fit a tenax, (although I've never tried it) but I'm sure it wouldn't fit properly. Picture shows a Tenax base.

From what I can tell, there are 2 varieties of Tenax bases. One is German the other is "Made in England". They do not mix.
