As a general rule, it is better to expend your efforts fighting measures like this in their entirety, than to allow factions of the resistance to be split off through exceptions, etc. No matter what assurances they give you now, it is always easier to pick off isolated groups later once the framework is in place.

The UK system of an E Petition is that if 100,000 signatories is reached then the petition is obliged to be considered by our Parliament. Long way to go at the moment: 51 signatories!!

I have signed it but I have absolutely no intention of taking my car any closer to London than Brooklands. All those snarled up roads, noise and fumes. Yuk.
