MG MGA - Lucas dash switch bezels
Does anyone know if sets of new dash bezels are available?..I've tried all the obvious places (Moss etc), but can't seem to find any. |

No I don't believe they are. I notice that Todd Clarke offers a reconditioning service and I guess any good plating shop could do the same. The only repro ones I have seen are the knurled type. The dimmer and heater ones are common to lots of other switches (flick switches) and so easy to get. The light switch is slightly larger and is sold with the original type bezel. But the three PS7, SPB104 are the tricky ones. There are still plenty of good used and NOS complete switches on eBay although prices have increased over the last couple of years. They are the same as early Morris Minor plus you need to search on individual switch function too and then you will find cheaper ones. The ignition switch bezel is also not to my knowledge reproduced and it's very common to find a hexagon bezel on even the best restorations. |

Try Anglo Parts in Belgium. I got some last year. But make sure you ask about postage before you pay!!.......................Mike |

You're absolutely right Mike, page 63 items 98 to 102: http://www.anglodesign.be/images_ap/MGA_catalogue.pdf |

Not cheap! 108 Euros plus shipping for a set excluding the indicator switch that is not available. Still, these are the details that make the difference! |

I refuse to deal with Anglo after they refused to deduct Belgium VAT on my transactions which were outside the Euro zone. Plus their costs, including postage are unbelievably excessive! |
