MG MGA - MacGregor British Car Parts???
I ordered parts on September 9th from Martin J. MacGregor and still have not seen a charge to my account and can't seem to get in touch with Mr. MacGregor. Has anyone ordered part from MacGregor British before? Should I be concerned? |

I ordered a couple of years ago and had no problems. The items have to go thru customs (he takes care of that with the package labeling), maybe there's a hang up there. Also, perhaps he didn't get to filling the order until last week since Sept 10/11 was a weekend. George |

Several years ago, I tried to order from him and had a bad experience. Same as you, I tried contacting him after a few weeks and I never heard back. When I finally reached him on the phone he was clearly annoyed that I had been following-up on the order. The order was never filled, and my account was never charged, so no real harm done. I am convinced that if I had NOT followed-up, I would have received the order (eventually). M.D. '57 coupe |

I ordered door seals from MacGregor as I read here that they are superior quality. They arrived quite quickly with no problems and I have been very satisfied. But then they did not have to cross the border, which can certainly cause delays in either direction. |

I've ordered boot seals from him, and they came promptly. Maybe a delay at the border, or UPS (oops) problems. I did not have a border issue as I live in Canada. Peter. |

I have the same problem. I ordered seals from him 8 weeks ago and my account has not been charged and of course I don't have the seals. I ordered stuff from him a couple of years back and it took a long tiem to come but not this long. Andy 60 Coupe |

Finally got my seals last weekend. The items were fine and economical but I would have liked a little more promptness. |

I had a call from Martin McGregor today with apologies for the delay due to their workload. My seals are apparently on their way. I wonder if this forum had anything to do with it. Andy |

Martin's stuff is great, but he has always used the "workload" excuse. |
