MG MGA - MGA book

A-Antics Tech Tips seems like a good source of information. Anyone know if it's available in the UK?

Probably not, but you could email Bruce Nichols of the Michigan Rowdies, and ask him - nicholsbm@aol.com.

Or simply ask the MGCC MGA register
They produced it didn't they?

The book is produced by the Rowdies. If you want it, you have to get in touch with them.

I wonder what I am thinking of?
Will have to check through my library.
Thanks.

Is this the same as 'MGA Tech Sessions' written by Mike Ash? I seem to recall that cost me more in postage from NAMGAR than the book itself which is 360 pages!
Bob - You may be thinking of 'A Guide to MGA Restoration' by A. Sargent which was produced by the Register.................Mike

Hi Bob - you are right - the MGA register has produced a Technical Tips Book now no longer in print - I have a copy and there is now a version available on CD.
Cam Cunningham

I had the pleasure of updating and electronically creating the version the MGA Register sells on CD - it now covers technical and restoration and is structured in line with the Workshop Manual - £8, i think, from the MGA Register

A-Antics Tech Tips may be purchased through the Little British Car Company web site or the Michigan Rowdies site.
It's about 250 pages with a great deal of hands-on, real world experience solutions, etc..

Hi all thanks for the replies, I did try some years ago and contacted Namgar. I had to write to order it, send a cheque, written in dollars, couldn't use pay pal, it just became tiresome, I gave up.
I had just thought things might have changed, but it seems not. Nobody at this side of the Atlantic seems to be using it. So I will just stick with what else is available over here. When I think about it, any of the reviews/recommendations I have read were from the colonies. I will just wait patiently until this book leap frogs the other MGA publications and is first to be available on Kindle.

thanks agin Ross
