What colour would you like Tom http://www.clarkespares.com/doorseals.html |

Tom, This seal is available from Moss and Scarborough Faire but the profile they supply is incorrect. It should be P-shapped with a tapered end, similar in shape but smaller than the seal for the battery cover. I made them for my car using polyuerethane foam and a 3D printed mould, based on measurements from an original seal. |

Tom If you fancy doing it yourself you can see MGAGuru’s INT-108F and save $$$? Cheers Dave |

Tom and Dave, I think you are referring to the wrong seal - the seal referred to is at the bottom of cp118.htm Regards, Mark |

Hi Mark Barney’s INT-108E is a comparison between the original seal and the Ramsey sponge seal. The Ramsey seal has a bulge on the long leg and a void underneath it to improve the resilience of the seal. Otherwise they are identical and the Ramsey seal on my car works perfectly. If I were doing it again, I would use contact adhesive rather than the glue dots. Cheers Dave |
