I will be there too, we will be traveling down in company with Vins clockwork car all being well. Just a bit worried about how many times we are going to have to stop to rewind it!

(Apologies in advance for the state of my car, I have not as much as uncovered it since we got back from the Alps with it last month!)

I should really be out cleaning the car, rather than code breaking.

I am surprised that the Olympic Committee did not requisition Vin's car for the Closing Ceremony. It would have been hilarious to have seen him winding it up every 200m around the track.

Most enjoyable day. I think I counted 52 MGAs, but might have been 54.

Great to put the faces to BBS names, including Graham Victor, John Bray, Colin Manley, Phil Parmenter, Colyn Firth and Vin Rafter.

Cheers

Yes I agree. A good day, a great collection of cars, and nice to meet and chat with the other owners.
Hope everyone got home OK.

Seconded, it's always good to finally meet the people from this 'chat room'!

The only downside to such a wonderful day out is the large list of things that I now need to do on my car.

I had a great time too although i must agree, you go to these days thinking what a nice car you have until you look at some of the cars on display and it makes you want to spit!, seriously though the day was made for me by the wonderful tour guide that we had she really is an inspiration it was like being led around by Joyce Grenfell (George!! don’t do that)
Vin Rafter

I second that about things to do on the cars. The best MGA was a very nice vehicle. From what I could glean it was a Bob West rebuilt Twin Cam in Morgan Connaught British Racing Green with a Magnolia trim. It's the same colour set as mine, but there the similarities end!

Fascinating to learn the history of wartime Bletchley. To think that the cyber war was won in buildings like this!

Great to meet you at last Steve and Pete.

The only downside for you guys is that now that I have actually met you, I may not be quite so restrained in my comments about you on this forum! :-)

It was a great MGA day out, I loved Jean our tour guide, she was amazing and I felt sort of humbled by what people like her have done for us all.

Great Venue, some great company there and some amazing cars.

Cant wait for next year
