MG MGA - MGA in a new film
We went to see the UK film "Cemetery Junction" last night. It's a Ricky Jervais film based in 1973 Britain and it has an Iris Blue MGA driven by one of the main characters - I didn't get the registration (probably false anyway) but it looked like a 1600 Mk1 - I wonder whose it is? It was a good film by the way - lots of nostalgia and humour - cheers Cam |

Very interesting, Cam. I lived about 1/2 a mile from Cemetery Junction and owned a MGTA in 1964-66 and a Glacier Blue MGA in 1973-75. I look forward to seeing the film. I did my first cylinder head gasket change in 1965 about 300 yards from what we used to call the 'dead centre' of Reading. Shane |

I have just tried to watch the trailer and clips after 'Googling' the film. After about 5/10 seconds the clips pause, and a circular counter rotates in the middle of the screen, before playback for a few more seconds. As far as I am aware, I have the latest flash player. Any ideas? |

Your connection is too slow (or narrow or whatever the correct term is!) to allow the video to stream. My "broadband" is through the phone line and I have the same problem if I want to watch a film off the net. So I have to download first. You might find it's ok at certain (off peak) times. |

I have just done a download test, and it is 4778 kbps. the max I can get in my area is 8meg. I have been told that the current speed should be adequate. Computers!! |

" I have been told that the current speed should be adequate." depending on you speak bits or bytes! |
