MG MGA - MGA Special Tuning

I have recently come across 2 versions of the MGA Special Tuning book. One dates back to 1958. It is about 32 pages in a deep tan coloured jacket. It has a very comprehensive list of specifications, plus all the tuning procedures. The other is a British Leyland publication of about 10 stapled plain white A4 pages. It has the same tuning procedures but only basic list of specifications.

I am not sure if you are all aware of these 2 books. Just be careful when bidding on Ebay for 'original' versions. Both would seem to be originals. However, the undated British Leyland version is easily photocopied.

The 32 pager is available in Issue 2 (1960) on my web page

There are significant differencies between your Issue 2 1960 and my issue 1 1958. Yours specifically lists whether 1500, 1600 etc, whereas mine says simply MGA. I guess that's understandable.
Mine also does not have Stage 3A. Perhaps I will post it on my website so others can view the differencies between yours and mine.

This is the Leyland version front cover - see image.

Please can you rectify a mistake on your publications page

Call it MGA was co written by Piers Hubbard and not Peter Hubbard. Piers is a long standing MGCC member and MGA nutcase, if he saw that he may have you shot at dawn :-))

Cor Blimey, feedback! Thanks Bob. Done.

Hi Steve, I also have a copy of the Leyland stapled one - which I think is an original, rather than a cheap photocopy, judging by the rusty staples. Still looking out for a reasonably priced longer version.

My 1958 issue 1, complete with rusty staples, cost me £22 plus postage.
