MG MGA - MGB Kingpin on MGA ?
Can i bolt a MGB kingpin on a MGA for discbrake convertion. Or will i get a wrong camber ? Harry |

I think the trunnions are too narrow on the B and require spacers. My car had MGB parts on the front when I got it and it had horrid negative camber. It now has the proper stuff. |

I have all MGB suspension on my A. There are no camber problems. To see what's involved, go to www.mgaguru.com --Jack |

I've done it a couple of times. No problems with Camber but you need to retain the MGA shock absorber and make spacers for it's top piviot. Also I find the steering rack ends need to be shortened by about 1/4" each side. Otherwise with MGB Steering arms you get too much toe out to drive the car. Barney has a page here: http://mgaguru.com/mgtech/suspensn/fs205a.htm Good luck Mark |

My 58 roadster has MGB front suspension I used MGB shocks swapped left to right with the arms reversed. MGA and MGB lower arms and pans are the same. Tierods get shortened about 1/2" each. Bolt in swap no cutting or drilling needed. Camber is not an issue. |
